In the Cosy Café Budapest kitchen every sandwich is made fresh on the day of your order – for office events, corporate events, family celebrations or get-togethers with friends. More than 50 kinds of closed, open and cocktail sandwiches, finger food and, on request, homemade pogácsa (Hungarian savoury scones): collect them at Szondi u. 11. or have them delivered anywhere in Budapest and Pest County.
Party sandwiches to order
For your event, office occasion or family celebration we make every sandwich fresh, on the day of your order. Choose closed sandwiches, open sandwiches, bite-sized cocktail sandwiches or finger food – or a mix. You can choose from more than 50 different sandwiches, and we can also make custom products.

All sandwiches can also be made lactose-free and gluten-free.
Ordering terms
- Minimum order: HUF 30,000.
- Order deadline: at least 3 working days before the event; for orders over 2,000 sandwiches at least 5 working days.
- Price: individual quote, based on quantity, the products chosen and delivery.
- Invoice: we issue a VAT invoice.
- For companies: payment by bank transfer within 3 or 8 days, by prior arrangement.
- Private customers: payment on site at Cosy Café (Szondi u. 11.) by cash or card, or by bank transfer.
- Allergen chart: provided with every order, both digitally and in print.
Delivery and collection
- Delivery area: all of Budapest and Pest County.
- Delivery time: within a one-hour window between 07:00 and 20:00 – weekends included. Earlier or later times are possible only by individual arrangement, for a surcharge.
- Access permit: if a vehicle access permit is needed to reach the delivery address, arranging it is the customer’s responsibility.
- Collection: Monday to Sunday between 08:00 and 16:00 at the café, Szondi u. 11. – get directions on Google Maps.
- Delivery and packaging: listed as separate items in the quote.
Packaging
- Open sandwiches and finger food: in flat cardboard boxes, depending on quantity.
- Closed sandwiches: individually wrapped.
- Pogácsa: in deeper cardboard boxes.
Homemade pogácsa – optional
Pogácsa is one of Hungary’s favourite savoury bakes: a small scone-like bite that is easy to eat by hand, does not crumble and travels well – which makes it an ideal companion to party sandwiches. Alongside the sandwiches we can optionally bake six kinds of homemade pogácsa to order:
Plain salted
The classic, crumbly savoury pogácsa – a safe choice for everyone.
Cheese
Baked with cheese and a golden-brown top – the most popular kind.
Cottage cheese (túró)
Made with Hungarian túró, soft and light inside.
Pumpkin seed
Topped with pumpkin seeds for a mild, nutty flavour.
Crackling (tepertő)
The truly traditional Hungarian taste, made with pork crackling.
Multi-seed
With a mix of seeds and a crunchy crust.
You can also order a mixed selection – just tell us the kinds and quantities when you request a quote.
How to order

- Tell us the details: the date of the event, the sandwiches and quantities you would like, whether you want pogácsa, collection or delivery (address and requested time), and any dietary needs.

Which payment methods do you accept?
Private customers can pay on site at Cosy Café (Szondi u. 11.) by cash or card, or by bank transfer. Companies can pay by bank transfer within 3 or 8 days by prior arrangement. We issue a VAT invoice.

How is the food packaged?
Open sandwiches and finger food come in flat cardboard boxes depending on quantity, closed sandwiches are individually wrapped, and pogácsa comes in deeper cardboard boxes.
Are gluten-free or lactose-free options available?
Yes, the sandwiches can be made gluten-free and lactose-free. We provide an allergen chart with every order, both digitally and in print.
